Westcliff Land Cultivation Society- where are we and who are we?

Westcliff Land Cultivation Society manage the allotment site at Springfield Drive, Westcliff on Sea. Our site is located between Fairfax Drive and Southend General Hospital, beside the Prittle Brook path. The main entrance is in Springfield Drive, (opposite Ramuz Drive), off of Fairfax Drive (note, Springfield Drive is a one way street, so you cannot access the Springfield Drive entrance from Prittlewell Chase by car).

If you are interested in renting a plot, the best thing to do is come down to the site on a Saturday or Sunday morning between 10 and 12, and ask in the trading shed to speak to Pat Salisbury or any other committee member, who will be only to pleased to show you around.

If you live in the Southend area and Springfield Drive is not the most convenient site for you, contact Jon Limbert, Southend Council’s allotments officer, for details of other plots in the Southend and Leigh district.

Your committee meets on the second Sunday morning of each month, or Tuesday evenings during the summer months. If you have anything you want to raise then see one of the committee members.
