PLOT UPDATES
Notice of AGM 2008
The WLCS annual general meeting will be on Sunday 16th November at
10:30am in the canteen. All are welcome to attend. Members are entitled
to put themselves forward to stand for the offices of Chair, Treasurer
or Secretary. George Wood is stepping down as Site Manager, and we
would like to thank him for the many years that he has fulfilled this
role.
Plot to Pot
Please continue to leave any donations or spare produce for the 'Plot
to Pot'
Homeless Action Resource Project at the Trading Shed - we intend to
collect on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
Notices from the Committee
Trading Shed - Seeds and gardening requisites available at (still) good
prices; volunteers needed to assist at weekends in the shop.
Mowers available to hire from the Trading Shed @ £2 a go.
Security fence - cover needs maintaining well in order to deter
people from climbing over – so please do not cut back the shrubs that
have been planted by the fence.
Lock the gates always - frequent offenders (non-lockers) will forfeit
membership - note that there has been a recent shed fire and the big
outdoor table was stolen earlier in the year.
Christmas raffle donations welcome, many thanks to all who contribute!
