10.30 – Group exercise, 'Whats Going Well?'- Sharing of information and success stories.
11.15 – Tea break
11.30 – Ru: Presentation on Growing Communities and Organic Lea.
12.00 – Open discussion, 'Sharing Difficulties' – common problems and possible solutions
1.00 – Lunch break - vegetarian meal provided
2.00 – Networking session, 'Future Connections' – possibilities for partnerships, how can we help each other out, either on a formal or informal basis? Futures for horticultural, growing and community projects in the Southend on Sea area.
2.45 – Tea break.
3.00 - Plenary, 'Next Steps' – Where to from here?
4.00 – Closing circle and departures.
One idea that we would like to move forward from this day event is the creation of a local 'directory' of food growing, community, therapeutic and health promoting projects as well as local small businesses such as wholefood shops and cafes, producers and so on. It would be very helpful therefore if you could print out and fill in this form before coming along to this day event.
