About SEEOG
South East Essex Organic Gardeners were formed in 1994 to promote the principles of organic gardening, which include the composting of organic waste, the protection of wildlife, the reduction of pollution and the encouragement of species diversity.
The group is affiliated to Garden Organic, the working name of Henry Doubleday Research Association, the national charity for organic growing and the Soil Association.
SEEOG holds regular public meetings, attends two local farmers’ markets, exhibits at shows and open days, organises outings and gives talks.
Meetings are held bi-monthly on a Monday at St. David’s Church Hall, 400 Rayleigh Road, Eastwood in January, March, May, July, September and November. Please see Newsletter for dates and details. Non-members can attend for a small charge. New members are always welcome, whether or not they have a garden or allotment.
